Una de las series estelares de la plataforma de contenidos Netflix sorprende por un vínculo musical que ha dejado anonadado incluso al artista correspondido. Los Bridgerton, filme que narra la vida de una familia numerosa en el Londres de la Regencia, ha encontrado en Pitbull, uno de los 'jefes' de la música de hace unos años, una versión que ha sorprendido y mucho en las redes sociales a través de una canción que descubrimos y a la que intentamos buscar relación con la serie que refleja a la alta sociedad inglesa del Siglo XIX. 

Si bien el ambiente, el vestuario e incluso el vocabulario se distinguen pro otra época, los creadores de la serie Los Bridgerton realizan en ocasiones contadas un acercamiento a la actualidad a través de la música y con Pitbull, la sorpresa ha sido tal que ha llegado incluso al propio artista de origen cubano, que si bien conocía su vínculo con la serie de Netflix, no dudó en reaccionar por lo bien que quedaba la escena. 

La canción de Pitbull que aparece en una escena, muy importante y algo subida de tono, de la tercera temporada de Los Bridgerton, es Give Me Everything, uno de los hits del verano de 2011 en los que el cantante de Miami suena junto a Nayer, Ne-Yo y Afrojack, en un tema pegadizo y del que muchos recordarán la melodía. 

La reacción de Pitbull con Los Bridgerton

La versión que aparece en la pequeña pantalla a través de Netflix y de Los Bridgerton no es la original, si no una instrumental que fue creada por el artista Archer Marsh. Lo podemos escuchar –ojo, spoiler– en el cuarto episodio y en los últimos minutos, en una escena en la que aparecen, en un momento apasionado y apasionante, Penelope Featherington (Nicola Coughlan) y Colin Bridgerton (Luke Newton).

Al comprobar el resultado de la combinación de épocas, Pitbull abrió su perfil en las redes sociales y no dudó en comentar a través de X. "Una vez más, esto demuestra al mundo cómo la música es el lenguaje internacional que trasciende fronteras y, más aun, cómo una canción de éxito puede permanecer atemporal. Gracias a Los Bridgerton y a Netflix por la oportunidad, ¡dale!", comentaba Pitbull.

Además de este temazo de Pitbull, otras canciones conocidas y modernas han sonado en otros capítulos de Los Bridgerton, como es el caso de Snow on the beach de Taylor Swift y Lana del Rey o Dynamite de BTS, pero también Jealous de Nick Jonas, Abcdefu de Gayle, Happier than ever de Billie Eilish o Cheap Thrills de Sia.
