La canción de Bruce Springsteen para las películas de Harry Potter que fue rechazada

Primero fue Bohemian Rhpasody. Luego Rocket Man. Después Yesterday. Los biopics sobre artistas del mundo de la música están en pleno apogeo, y Blinded by the Light sigue la historia de un adolescente de la Gran Bretaña de Margaret Thatcher que aprende a vivir, comprender a su familia y encontrar su propia voz gracias a la música de Bruce Springsteen.

En la banda sonora de la película se han colado varias grabaciones, y una de ellas es I'll Stand by You, una balada inédita que el músico compuso con el deseo de que sonara en las películas de Harry Potter, algo que no llegó a hacerse realidad.  "Es bastante buena", dijo Springsteen sobre la canción en una entrevista de 2016 recogida por el medio estadounidense Pitchfork. "Me gustaría incluirlo en una película infantil de algún tipo".
